Paleo Day 14
Hopefully you took time this weekend to rest up and allow your body to recover. As we've said before, the gym is where the stimulus happens, but outside of it is where your body takes the good stress you've given it, and beefs up it's weakest areas so that when that challenge comes up again, it will be ready. Continually turning the screws without recovering leads to a gradual, and sometimes not-so-gradual, downward spiral in results and general well-being. Savor that rest. And now that you have....
Workout of the Day

Run 400m
21 Kettlebell Swings (55#, 35#)

HA HA Mendy!!
I was hoping you would be there this afternoon!! I can't wait to talk to you about how the cert went!!
Today was a good day at the box! Thank goodness Julianne went first today, she gave me a goal to go after. I came in just behind her at 11:3something, 2+ minutes better than June. Got to love Helen.

Mary and I did this WOD today...but pulled a Dan and messed up the timing. Think we were between 11-15ish minutes. (Treadmill sprints) My kind of Monday WOD!
Dinner last night: Turkey Meatballs
1 lb ground turkey
1 egg
4 med size mushrooms
1/2 small white onion
3-4 minced garlic cloves
1 tspn tumeric
handfull of fresh basil
salt and pepper as desired
Cut/dice it all up- mix it all together-bake in the oven 375F for 15-20 minutes; dip in favorite homemade tomato sauce; set on top of steamed broccoli and asparagus. Voila!
