There are over 1,000 CrossFit affiliates worldwide. Big ones, small ones, ones with nice buildings, small buildings, in garages, and in nothing but parks. One of the cool things about being a CrossFit affiliate is that, short of using the CrossFit methodolgy to absolutely improve anyone's fitness dramatically, there are no other restrictions or rules. We run it as we see fit. And we see our gym as your gym. Our athletes are the best thing about our gym. They are the commitment to improving their form. They are the "never quit" attitude. They are the infomercials. We encourage, show the way, and revel in their accomplishments, whether those accomplishments are a lower time on "Fran", a new Back Squat max, weight loss, job promotion, new baby birth, new house, new car, etc. We love 'em. My point is, no matter how other affiliates run their place, our aim is to run ours to the highest standards, so that our athletes can reap the rewards. We are family here, and if you're just joining us, you'll soon see what we mean. Instead of calling our box "the place I work out", you'll be calling it "my gym". Welcome.

50-45-40-35-30-25-20-15-10-5 Double Unders
So do 10 squat clean thrusters (they're just like they sound), then 50 DUs, 9/45, 8/40, etc. down to 1/5. Post your time to comments.

Love the video. Your new announcement couldn't be more timely! What a miserable flu the last few days. So, about tomorrow...I can visualize the 'squat-thruster' part...but are we cleaning after every squat??? Thus really doing 2 squats? Sorry...

Heron, you'll clean it from the floor, catch it in a squat and then go for the press overhead like the thruster. Then the bar goes back down to the floor for the next clean. Have fun with it... ;-) Hope to see you soon!
