Do Anything

Friday, September 17th, 2010

Take time this weekend to do something you can't do during the week.  Living is part of recovering.  Experiencing is part of renewing.  Make your time count, and for goodness sake, get out and use your fitness!

Workout of the Day (last done 4/19/10)

4 rounds for time:

Run 400m
15 Medicine Ball Cleans (20, 14)
15 Hand Stand Push Ups

Post time to comments.

Tabitha workin' the rings.

23:55 with a 20# ball and doing the HSPUs with my knees on a 24" box. Beat my April 19 time by nearly 3 minutes.

The weekend is here, let the living begin. Headed to MD to hang out with my sister and her husband. Rush concert Saturday night and a cookout on Sunday. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Finished in 22 minutes and change. Handstand push ups were knees on a 30" box. Don't know how this compared to April.

I've also come to the realization that I really don't like medicine ball cleans.

Hey Matt, I saw the Moving Pictures concert in Madison Square Gardens in 1981. Geddy Lee is nothing but genius.

I miss the box!

I am slowly getting better each day but still can't look down or move certain ways without a spasm. I hope to be back soon - I hope I can still take my trip to NJ next week.

Miss ya and thinking about you guys.

Dave, on their current tour, Rush is playing the album "Moving Pictures" in its entirety.

Geddy Lee is a genius, but as a drummer, I've always thought Neil Peart was the man.

20:28 if I recall correctly
- Used 14# medicine ball
- Did all HSPUs against wall, kipping, with an abmat under my head. There were just too many HSPUs to try it w/o the abmat.

This was approx 3 minutes slower than in April...but then I did all the HSPUs with my knees on a box so I would call it a definite improvement.
