Life is like a wod. A sometimes harsh and brutal wod. And there is no scaling in this one...everyone must do it as rx'd. And unlike wods that are done at the box, in this one, when the bar starts getting heavy (and it will), there can be no dropping it. And when you finally decide to catch your breath, you look up at a clock that really has gone bad; you are amazed at how fast the seconds are ticking by. Then in horror you realize those are years that have been ticking off. To everyone at TCF, you have made a great impact on my life; from every trainer to every crossfitter...even to the kids and the dogs. To all of you; 3,2,1...go! And go hard because the clock is ticking.


Well said Dave. You were always and inspiration to me. We miss you!

Clay talked me into Double Grace:
3:29 on the first, rested about 30sec, 6:13 2nd, 9:42 total(rx'd).

I'm shooting for a single Grace in Kirk's double time.


First, let it be known that Kirk is a liar. HE was the first to suggest Double Grace. I was just dumb enough to actually do it too. 7:22 as Rx'd

Dave, we miss you already. You are correct - when life's bar gets heavy, it really opens your eyes to what is truly important. Hurry back soon.


And I want to be like Clay. Wait till you guys see his times!


Wow double Grace. Maybe you guys should have went for the one arm grace challenge. I bet ya'll could do that easy. :)

Ok, so you guys know that my goal in a WOD is to take Kirk's time and double it - so tonight my goal was 7:00.

I did Grace with 65# (PR for me) and my time was 7:28 - so close!

Good WOD tonight - way to push everyone - great times today!

4:29 as rx'd (new pr). I wouldn't have lasted 30 more reps like Clay and Kirk. Way to work guys.

This is Jacob, I used to train with you guys at the beginning of the year before I went to EBOLC. With ya'll I got my best Fran time of 6:57 which stood until today. After doing the Fat Fran this monday I did regular Fran at 4:47. The thing that allowed me to finish was knowing that I already did heavier thrusters and I wouldn't let myself quit on anything lighter. Thanks for helping with the mental breakthrough.
