Workout of the Day

Weighted Pull Ups - 3,3,3,3,3


5 Rounds, each for time:

3 Clean and Jerks (80-85% 1 RM)
9 Burpees
Rest 2 minutes

We'll talk scaling for the first part when you get to the gym.  Post final load and times for each round to comments.

Looks like I'll be sitting this one out, legs & shoulders still tore up from Monday / Tuesday! Anyone have a secret remedy for sore muscles? I could sure use one:) See you guys Friday!

My quads don't always get sore. But when they do, I prefer the Clean and Jerk.


Weighted pullups- 55#

1:03, 1:12, 1:08, 1:11, 1:01 w/175#


Weighted pull ups: 20#
0:53, 1:00, 1:04, 1:06, 1:08 (?) with 110#

1:15, 1:20, 1:08, 1:18, 1:03. 165# 175# last set
45# weighted pull up.
Missed 55# by 2 inches maybe on the last rep.


Oh man I was so confused...I totally didnt do the time thing right...did it at the gym at work.

40ish lbs for the pullups
Did the rest of it in times that were around a minute I guess. 133lbs...gym only had kg plates
