Welcome, March!  Just a few important announcements here at the beginning of another month. 

We hate to start with the bad news but let's just get it out of the way.  TCF, we didn't make our February Gym Challenge goal of 40,000 Burpees.  Although some may be quick to say it was impossible, we argue that it was not.  Although disappointed, we will look to March as the month of redemption.  Stay tuned to the announcements section as the new challenge will be posted there soon.

Secondly, have you taken our Rowing Workshop?  If not, get in gear and sign up for Saturday's session that begins at 11:00 AM.  Much like other CrossFit exercises, your rowing performance can be improved with some attention to your technique and efficiency.  Secure your spot by reserving online.   

By now, many of you are probably aware of the snatch-fest (aka CF Games Open WOD 12.2) that is getting ready to take the CrossFit world by storm.  As last week, TCF will be doing WOD 12.2 on Friday but we will be operating on a slightly different schedule.  Instead of scheduled WOD times this Friday, we are going to have Open Gym hours.  TCF will be open in the morning from 6:00-10:00 AM and again in the afternoon from 4:00-7:00 PM.  During these times, anyone needing to complete the WOD may come in, get warmed up, and then take on the WOD when they are ready.  Athletes not competing in the Open can complete WOD 12.2, choose another workout, or use the time for skill practice.  Also, if you need to make up Top Dawg WOD 2, this would be a good time to come in.

And speaking of our Top Dawg competition, we still have several folks that will be making up the workout over the next few days.  We will post the standings/results next week.

For time:

Run 800m then...

4 rounds

5 Overhead Squats (135, 95)
15 Kettlebell Swings (55, 35)
15 Wall Ball Shots (20, 14)

then Run 800m to finish.

So....what was our total number of burpees for February?


22:05 w/ 75 lbs on the bar and 12 lb WallBall. Jesse, we didn't even make half of it. :-(
