In honor of this weekend's Carolina Fitness Challenge, we're serving up a dose of Event #4. Remember, you'll be hitting this WOD fresh - competitors on Saturday will have already completed several events and will be managing game day jitters.
If you're free on Saturday and want to see some amazing athletic performances, make the trip to Durham and check it out. The event will be an all day thing. Unfortunately we don't have anyone competing this year from TCF but it'll still be a good time if you go. Entry tickets at this point are $30.
Workout of the Day
4th Annual Carolina Fitness Challenge Event #4
In 10 minutes, complete as many reps as possible in the following sequence:
1 Shoulder to Overhead, 1 Toes to Bar
2 Shoulder to Overhead, 2 Toes to Bar
3 Shoulder to Overhead, 3 Toes to Bar
Etc.
Men - 165lbs
Women - 115lbs
Masters men (40+) - 135lbs
Masters Women (40+) - 75lbs
No rack is used. Athlete can move the bar from the shoulders to a full locked out overhead position any way they choose (press, push press, power jerk, split jerk). Knees and hips must be fully extended and bar directly overhead at lockout for each rep to count.
Give it all you've got and post total reps to Comments.
