On a rare night recently of tv watching, I saw a commercial that made a great point. Usually the focus when choosing to live a healthy lifetyle is on what one will lose. Instead we should emphasize what stands to be gained. How about being able to run, play, dance, jump, and climb with your kids? How about health? How about having the courage and strength to try new things? How about taking pride in your accomplishments? What about a new swimsuit? This list could go on, and should, in comments along with your workout results. Don't be shy!
Workout of the Day
4 Rounds for time:
10 DB Clean and Jerks* (55, 35)
10 Burpees
50 Double Unders
The Cleans can be any kind, including power, but each rep must come from the floor. Post time to comments.
Vertical on the swing...nice, Kathleen!

16:03 rx'd DBs were very tough.
My list includes better all around fitness for mountain biking, skiing, trail running, backpacking, etc. . . and yes I'd like to be able to lift myself off the "can" when I'm into my 80s, that's priceless!

I want to be able to keep doing my job. Crossfit sure makes it easier.
My goal is to keep improving my half marathon finish time.
Of course everything gets easier with improved fitness.
