While working with some of our beginner athletes recently, I quickly sensed their frustration while practicing one of the fundamental movements. (Bet you all can guess which one!) When starting CrossFit, it's easy to feel like you'll never get it, that this is all just too much. Yes, it may seem that way at first however with more exposure, attempts, and coaching it will get better. It sounds cliche but it's truth. Look around the gym. There's evidence of it everywhere. The folks who look like they've been doing this all their life and seem to breeze through the exercises were one day where you are now. Keep working, don't give up, and cut yourself some slack and one day YOU will be the source of inspiration to a beginner.
*** For TCF athletes interested in pre and post workout supplementation, TCF is delighted to announce that we are now an authorized Progenex affiliate and you will soon be able to purchase Progenex pre and post workout products here at your own box. How soon you ask? This week! The first shipment of product is on the way. Oh yea, and it'll be cheaper than if you purchased directly and there's no shipping cost. How's that for taking care of our athletes? That's just how we roll!

Scaled down to 115-lbs to make sure I didn't push the lower back issue to hard . . . although 115 felt like 135.

Learned this the other day:
One way to search for previous TCF WODs is to go to Google and enter your search text and then site:www.trianglecrossfit.com
For today's WOD, it would be:
"5 Front Squats (135, 95) 5 Push Press/Jerks (135, 95) site:www.trianglecrossfit.com"
This search gives me this page in the 3rd result:

Nice tip Jesse about the Google search. I didn't know about the "site" feature.
