16:30 scaled, singles, and 55# push press

Well for the 2nd day in a row I did not finish within the time cap. I'm looking at it in a "glass-half-full" kind of way and thinking that I must be really improving and pushing myself -- However, it would be nice to turn my DNF's and resulting DNR's into at least one RX that isn't a warm up. I do, seriously, feel like I have learned a lot in just the last 2 days about snatches- please no jokes here, lol. I have usually hated them but repetition is beginning to make a light bulb go off--It might be Christmas tree wattage but it is starting to burn. Also, when Jess is not kicking Mitch's @** she is kicking the workout's @**. Ha-Ha. (Sheepishly written as I'm a little scared too) Seriously,Good to have our Jess back!! Without her we would not know the difference between a Don Henley and Rick Springfield song. Speaking of her enlightenment of the musically challenged, I'm waiting on a ruling from official Crossfit judges to see whether or not Julia's new haircut may be an unfair advantage. She is now The Mohammed Ali of 8:30--floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee. . . .It must be THE HAIR. {Oh man, she is going to kill me-shudder}. We missed our Amy and Kristin today and a few others that I'm scared to call out but met a new cool Jess. Oh and Colleen was absolutely killing it today. BUT, most importantly, everyone had fun. That is all. There Amy, I commented lol. (PS- I only singled out the women in our class because I know that men stop reading/listening after the first sentence)!!

Beautifully said, Informer. Thank you for your extremely kind words!! What can I say - it's good to be back. And WHEN is our karaoke night out???!

Regarding today's workout - not my best showing. A ripped hand from a week+ ago prevented me from finishing all pull-ups rx'd. Had to move to ring rows midway thru. Also double unders are my nemesis...someday I will string more than 2 together. Until then it's triple the amount. :(

Dearest 8:30 informer,
So nice to hear from you again!! I've been wondering where you were. Why do you always post on a day I miss?? Did you use my spot today?? (without asking) Honestly you are quite a good writer which is another hint as to who you are.....sounds like an attorney turned comedian to me (Hint, Hint). You keep us all entertained!! Keep up the good work.
