So there's this little thing called the CrossFit Games coming up. "The Open" is the first step in qualifying for the games. All are welcome to compete, and here at Triangle CrossFit, we've had a healthy number of folks every year that sign up. We will be giving more information over the next days and weeks, but we encourage you to participate, especially if you never have before. There is a new workout posted once a week for 5 weeks, and we'll be doing each workout at TCF. Traditionally this has been on Fridays. It's a chance to see where you rank among your peers all around the world, and if you participated last year, you'll be able to see if your hard work moved you up in the rankings. We'll be doing a few of the past workouts up until this year's Open starts, and you'll see what they're like. You can do this. You have time, so think about joining the Triangle CrossFit Nation in the CrossFit Games Open.
Workout of the Day
Push Press - 3 x 8, Absolutely AHAP.
CrossFit Games Open Workout 14.1
AMRAP in 10 minutes
30 Double Unders
15 Power Snatches (75, 55; Masters Men 55+ - 65#, Masters Women 55+ - 45#)
Ring Plank Holds - Accumulate 3 minutes with as few breaks as possible. If you can hold for at least 45 seconds, consider using some weight, but be safe!
