At Triangle CrossFit, we believe in helping children enhance their current level of physical fitness and maximize their future athletic potential. Our youth programs are well-rounded, helping children develop in multiple areas of physical fitness. We recognize the teaching needs of children are different from those of adults and we deliver our progams in such a manner that helps children not only learn but have enormous amounts of fun while doing so. The TCF staff enjoys helping children discover that they are fit, strong, and capable and it is our hope every child participating in one of our programs acquires a lifelong appreciation for fitness and health.
Triangle CrossFit Kids
Triangle CrossFit Kids combines gymnastics, body weight calisthenics, and weightlifting elements to develop capacity across ten general physical skills: cardio-respiratory endurance, power, strength, stamina, speed, agility, flexibility, balance, accuracy, and coordination. Additional elements that encourage bone density development, cross body movements and exercises that involve the vestibular system are also incorporated. The elements are combined to keep children engaged and entertained, while teaching them proper movement technique and creating a broad athletic foundation.
TCF Kids classes are available to children between the ages of 5 and 13 years. Sessions will be offered in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends on a varied schedule and will be posted on the TCF master schedule at the beginning of each month. Each class lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes a warm-up, skill work, a workout, and games.
Children are welcome to try one class for free. (Please contact us to schedule.) To then enroll, parents purchase a 10 class series. The series is valid for one year from the date of purchase. (We're sorry but we do not allow fewer than ten classes to be purchased and refunds for any unused classes cannnot be given.)
Fees
Children of Current TCF Members = $10 per class
Children of Non-Members = $15 per class
What about youth over the age of 13?
Children 14 years of age and older may participate in Triangle CrossFit's adult classes. In order to do so, they must display the emotional and intellectual maturity required to participate successfully in classes alongside adults. In addition, he/she must have completed TCF's Elements training or aged up from being a regular participant in TCF Kids classes. Children 14-15 years must participate with a parent. Youth 16 years and older may participate by themselves.

Kids Nights
Kids Nights provide opportunities for parents to enjoy a well-deserved break while their children enjoy fitness games and other fun activities at TCF. Dinner is also included. Scheduled at least once a month, this drop-off program is offered on Friday evenings from 7pm-10pm. (Specific dates are announced on TCF's main page.) Triangle CrossFit staff run and supervise all Kids Night activiites. The cost is $25 per child or $20 per child for families with 2 or more children attending. Registration and payment is required in advance and can be done through our Online Store. Kids Night events are available to non-members.
Summer Camps
- Fitness Camps - half days from 1:00-4:30 PM, Monday-Friday, ages 5-12 years. Children will participate in a variety of fun fitness activities including active games, obstacle courses, yoga, basic gymnastics, and more. Healthy snacks are provided and incorporated into nutrition learning modules. Fee = $140 per session
Space is limited in all camps and registration is on a first come, first served basis. There is a $50 deposit required to reserve a spot in any TCF Kids Camp. The remaining balance is due in full no later than two weeks prior to the first day of the camp. Cancellation will incur loss of the $50 deposit.
