It was February 2009 when I first started at Triangle CrossFit. Previously, I had been training for triathlons but was beginning to get bored with that.  CrossFit was the missing link to the kind of applicable fitness I was looking for.  In April 2011, I received my level 1, and began coaching soon after. Outside of CrossFit, I love hiking, paddling, and participating in the occasional race or CrossFit competition.

B.S Exercise and Sports Science


I have been interested in sports and  fitness for most of my life, and graduated from UNC with a B.S. in  Exercise and Sports Science. I began CrossFit in 2012 and was blown  away by what the human body was capable of, and how quickly those changes became evident. I obtained my Level 1 in 2015 and love seeing the positive affect that CrossFit has on people's health and lives in general. Efficient movement equals stronger, faster, and safer movement.

My interest for physical activity in sports began at an early age. Throughout school, I was involved in football, baseball and track. After many years of lifting weights at a globo gym I was introduced to CrossFit, WOW! In July 2012, I joined the CrossFit community and felt the positive energy. This led me to truly understand the philosophy of CrossFit and earn my CrossFit Level 1 in August 2017.

Brand X Kids Fitness Certified

I started CrossFit in 2011. I was always interested in sports and fitness and CrossFit provided everything that I was looking for. For the past 11 years, I have assisted my husband with coaching youth sports. Helping youth with school and athletics is a large part of our lives. I received my Brand X Method Certification in 2018 and am very excited about teaching fitness and nutrition to children. In my spare time, you can find me hosting dinner for the Garner High School Basketball team, at the baseball field cheering on my children, or competing at a CrossFit competition.
