Legends Program (ages 60+)
Triangle CrossFit offers all different kinds of programs

Want to increase your independence, get moving, and strengthen your body, but aren’t sure where to start? Start here with our Legends program! This program is designed for clients 60 years and older that would like to get in shape or stay fit and have some fun! Previous workout experience is not necessary!

At TCF we use functional movements to improve your quality of life outside of the gym. Functional fitness exercises are defined as those that train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports. You may not realize it, but many of the movements you do in your daily life are versions of exercises we train at TCF. For instance, when you pick something off the ground, you deadlift. When you go from standing to seated and stand again, you squat. These are all movements and patterns that we will improve upon through out the Legends program!

Classes are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30am and last 45 minutes! Cost is $90/month.

Our Legends Program's goal is to increase your independence, developed as participants build the following:

Joint, muscle and tendon/ligament mobility

Core stability and strength resulting in better posture & balance

Increased strength and mobility in commonly atrophied and underdeveloped muscles in “older people”: glutes (rear-end), hamstrings (back of leg) and back in general

Increased stamina and endurance – a little goes a long way – stairs get easier to maneuver and distances needed to travel to seem shorter
