Almost a month into two thousand and eighteen. Where are you at? Where are you going? Where do you want to go?
What are you going to accomplish next?
I don't do New Years' Resolutions. They never worked for me. I prefer setting short term goals to work towards my big goals in life, and never felt the need to start on Jan 1.
One of my goals for this Open season though is to be truly ready each of the 5 weeks by making sure I am getting at least 7 hours of sleep a night, and eating enough food to sustain the activity level.
The TCF Intramural Open is going to be a blast. If you ever played intramural sports as a kid, this will be very similar. But it's about so much more than 5 workouts. It's about coming together with teammates that you may not have ever worked out with before to have fun, challenge yourself, and see what you can accomplish with a little extra push. Plus, who doesn't end up with a PR while working out in a tutu? Or a poop costume..
But enough about the Open. For now. (Unless you haven't signed up yet... in that case, go sign up here: games.crossfit.com. It's ok. I'll wait.)
So now that you've taken care of that, let's talk about another new program! One of the newest additions to TCF is our Personal Training program. We now offer 30 and 60 minute sessions for anyone looking for a flexible workout schedule, personalized training to meet your goals, and focused accountability. This can be used to supplement your CrossFit training, or it can be the only program you utilize here at TCF.
We want you to reach your fitness goals through a program that works for you. And sometimes group classes just aren't going to do it. And that's ok! Sign up for a No Sweat Intro on our website here, and come in to discuss how we can help you reach those goals.
For our current members, this option is for you as well! Especially important is the next 24 days leading up to the beginning of the Open. One-on-one personal training can help you reach that next big milestone in your CrossFit journey. And what better time to do it than right before the main event of the CrossFit season?
Try it out for a few sessions. Nail down those things you want to accomplish, and work specifically towards them with a coach that is able to give you their full attention.

See you at the box.
