Group vs Individual Training
Choosing to live a healthier lifestyle is a great thing. You buy new workout gear and accessories, like clothes, water bottle and maybe even a Fitbit, so that you can be prepared. Then you find yourself pondering whether individual or group training is best for you. There are so many variables to consider when trying to decide the best path to working out. Both individual and group training are great and combination of both works as well. You just must decide which one is best for you. I myself am partial to group training.
Here are some things to take into consideration as you decide:
Great for those who are not yet comfortable with working out in front of others.
It allows you or your personal trainer to cater to your specific needs and focus solely on you.
The personal trainer is there to give words of encouragement and support when needed.
Offers the same benefits listed above and so much more.
Meet other individuals, who are on their own personal journeys.
Share your successes and failures with others and have support from multiple people.
It can also be modified to your physical fitness level. The instructor will provide multiple modifications to make you feel competent in your ability to get through the workout.
Others are watching you progress through your fitness journey. It is refreshing and motivating when others within the group comment on the how far you have progressed.
You can help others progress on their fitness journey.
Know that other people encounter the same struggles when it comes to being physically fit and healthy.
Individual training and group training are incredible in that they both provide motivation, accountability, Structure, fun and support, however with group training you get to experience all these characteristics from multiple people who want to see you succeed.
