Travel Workout Program

Spring break is this month and summer is around the corner, and it’s important to us that you maintain your fitness while traveling!

American Council of Sports Medicine’s recommended guidelines is 150-300 minutes of physical activity per week, and honestly if you’re getting 150 minutes while on vacation, you are doing great! TCF has a spreadsheet available to those interested with 8 workouts that require little to no equipment as well as an accountability log that will keep you on track as you are out of town.

The accountability log is a simple spreadsheet that you can plug in what you did for exercise and how long the bout was. As you log your time, the 150 number at the bottom of the far right column will count down as you go. If the number reaches 0, you have hit your goal for the week! For added accountability, you can email a copy of the document to Coach Brandon.

If you happen to stay at a place that has a fitness facility, you may send a list of their equipment or a picture of the gym to Coach Brandon and he will even program your workouts during your stay based on the available equipment!
