Ways to Use Protein Powder

One of the best things about protein powder is that it is very versatile.

.

You can mix protein powder with water, milk, non-dairy milk substitute, or fruit juice for a quick, easy and popular way to get extra protein into your diet. You can also mix protein with a bunch of other products such as a nutritionally packed smoothie to protein baked goods.

.

Protein powder can be used in a bunch of different baked goods, from cookies, muffins and brownies to cakes. Keep in mind when baking with protein powder that if you use too much your baked goods could come out very dry. Make sure protein powder does not make up more than half of your batter. Also try to use moistening ingredients when baking with protein powder to help prevent the baked good from being too dry.

.

If you are looking for a different shake away from the standard milk or water, try blending protein powder with fruits of your choice with a base liquid to create a smoothie. You can also add nuts, nut butter, yogurt, and anything to your preference! Whichever set of ingredients you pick, all you have to do is blend them together.

.

You can also add protein powder to your coffee!! This offers the benefits of the protein powder while also giving you magnesium, potassium, and some B vitamins, which are benefits of coffee.

.

There are no set rules when it comes to what you can mix your protein powder with. It is all about personal preference! Maybe try something new with your protein powder?
